On Wednesday night we went to Whole Foods and used one of our Christmas gift cards to pick out all the ingredients for our home-cooked date night. I usually just bake desserts and pastries, but I had so much fun cooking this 4 course meal! It made me wish we had a bigger apartment and that we could throw dinner parties every weekend. Here's what was on the menu...
Bottle of Hahn Pinot Noir
Three cheese assortment with gluten-free crackers and dried cranberries
Broccoli soup
Pan-roasted baby potatoes
Lemon and peppercorn seasoned chicken breasts
Chocolate chunk cookies for dessert

Looks delicious! :) I wish we could have more dinner parties too!
Yum! I love those flax seed chips (that's what those are right?). Also, I made broccoli soup for Christmas Eve and it was a hit! YUM!
I love cooking in on date nites! I like my food better than most people's anyway.. and it's really hard to find healthy restaurants here. :\
Continue à suivre ta voie et reste-toi fidèle!
Sounds like the perfect date!
